About :pafi design

Design Begins with Clarity.

:pafi design is a boutique interior architecture studio dedicated to creating homes that reflect balance, emotion, and individuality.
We believe that design is not just about how a space looks, but how it supports the rhythm of your life.

Our approach blends strategic thinking with sensory intelligence — uncovering what truly supports you, what doesn’t, and what wants to emerge.

The result is a design that feels grounded, intentional, and deeply personal.

:pafi design Philosophy

Our approach merges strategic precision with sensory intuition.

:pafi design is built on the belief that every home holds potential for balance, clarity, and emotional resonance. Design is not only about how a space looks, but how it supports the life lived within it.

Our work bridges aesthetics, function, and atmosphere — crafting environments that feel both grounded and alive.

We see design as a conversation between space and self. Each home has a rhythm, and when aligned with its inhabitants, it becomes a source of calm, energy, and inspiration.

The goal is not perfection, but harmony — spaces that evolve with you and reflect the depth of who you are.

We start by listening to your goals, your needs, and the subtle cues of your environment.
From there, we translate insight into structure: flow, proportion, light, and materiality, all calibrated to create emotional and physical resonance.

Design with intention. Live with ease. It all starts with clarity.

And we help you get there.

She has held creative leadership roles at boutique studios, global corporations, creative agencies, and academic institutions. Her portfolio includes design for some of the world’s most recognized hospitality, retail, and immersive brands. Today, through PAFI Design, she brings that same strategic focus and refined aesthetic to private residential interiors.

At the heart of her work is a desire to make the design process feel approachable, joyful, and empowering. She helps clients shape homes that reflect their identity—not only supporting how they live, but also who they are becoming.

She holds a Bachelor’s in Architecture from Pratt Institute, a Master’s in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University, and an executive diploma in Human-Computer Interaction for Experience Design from MIT.

Pavlina is currently based in Atlanta, GA. When she’s not designing, she’s on the tennis court or exploring cities around the world in search of beauty, culture, and new ideas.
